Recording of Racial Justice in Vermont: Three Black Perspectives

Thank you to the over 300 participants who joined us for a discussion of racial justice from the perspective of three different leadership roles within prominent institutions of Vermont.  Thank you especially to Jason Broughton, Vermont State Librarian; Dr. Emily Bernard, UVM’s Julian Lindsay Green & Gold Professor and author of the award winning book, “Black is the Body”; and The Rt. Rev. Dr. Shannon MacVean-Brown, Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Vermont for giving so much of their time and insight to such a thoughtful and personal discussion. The three panelists discussed their experiences living and working in a largely white state. This Forum is a program of the Worthen Library, South Hero, Vermont’s public library.
